Traditional Provence recipe with Oregon herbs. Two exceptionally fragrant varieties of basil with savory, thyme, leeks and a hint of lavender make the best French salad dressing you can imagine.

Greek:

Mediterranean flavors of mint, lemon herbs and tomato add the authentic touch to Greek salads, lentils and lamb dishes.

Italian:

Our first sprinkle creation. Italian oregano, basil, garlic and tomato combine to give authority to pizza and minestrone.

Mexican:

If you enjoy creating your own blends or prefer to use individual herbs called for in a recipe, you will find no finer herbs than the ones we grow. Our hand screened (not ground) herbs retain their strength and color for a year if they are kept in a cool place away from strong light. Herbs are packed in 1/3 cup glass jars. Our herbal tinctures are made by the "simplers" method, from fresh herbs from our medicine garden. They are approximately 50% alcohol/ 50% water. Suggested doses are 1/3- 1/2 droppersful in hot tea, water or juice, 2-3 times daily as needed. We make this all purpose skin salve from plants grown in our medicine garden. Use it for rashes, chapped lips, scrapes, sunburn, cuts, burns, insect bites, diaper rash. Any skin problem that is not infected. Contains organically grown calendula flowers, comfrey leaves and root, St. John's wort flowers, plantain leaves and lavender flowers in a base of olive oil and beeswax. Contains no perfume.
